Pallet of fresh sod used for estimating lawn coverage with a sod calculator in Chattanooga and Ringgold.

How to Measure

Grab a tape measure or use a measuring wheel to get the length and width of your space in feet. For oddly shaped areas, break the space into squares or rectangles and add the total square footage together.

Examples:

A rectangular yard that’s 40 feet long and 25 feet wide = 1,000 sq. ft.

A curved bed? Break it into sections and round up to account for trimming.
